Volunteer Corner
We would like to introduce you to our dedicated Volunteer Support Group Facilitators. We will spotlight them in upcoming issues of the NAMI Dane County’s Pioneer. These folks make it possible for us to offer 15 Support Groups each month. The groups provide an opportunity for mental health consumers and their families and friends an outlet to share their experience, strength and hope with one another on their recovery paths. These individuals have been trained in group dynamics and processes. They share their time and talents graciously. We extend our heartfelt thanks. They are: Nancy, Diane, Mark, Chuck, Ginny, Mark, Sue and Paul. If you are interested in becoming a NAMI trained facilitator, please contact the NAMI Dane Office for upcoming training information.
