2019 Awards Banquet and Gala

Thanks to our many sponsors, NAMI Dane County has been able to create an event that recognizes the passion and commitment of our members and organizations in improving the lives of people affected by mental illness, brings together a diverse mix of people to network and socialize, AND raises money to support important NAMI Dane County programs.

This year’s event will take place on April 2nd, 2019 from 5:30-8:00pm in the Exhibition Hall at Monona Terrace Convention Center and features keynote speaker Pete Earley - a former Washington Post journalist and author of 17 books, including CRAZY: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness. We expect a record crowd!

Proceeds from sponsorship and ticket sales will go to support free programs and services that further our mission, including peer-led education and support programs to help people affected by mental illness get the support and information they need to better understand mental illness and navigate the mental health system, as well as community education and outreach to reduce stigma and help the general public better understand mental illness.
