Bridging Hearts and Minds
Bridging Hearts and Minds is an eight-week skills building workshop that uses mindfulness to enhance overall mental health and well-being. The objective of this program is to help those with anxiety/depression reduce stress and develop healthy coping skills. Examples of skills participants learn include body scanning, sitting meditation, walking meditation, breathing exercises and loving kindness.
The next course, taught by licensed mental health professionals, is scheduled to take place from October 18th to December 8th, every Wednesday from 6:15-8:15pm. It will be a two hour mindfulness and meditation workshop and will meet at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Please fill out and submit an H&M interest form to sign up.
