Bridging Hearts and Minds

Bridging Hearts and Minds is an eight-week skills building workshop that uses mindfulness and yoga to enhance overall mental health and well-being. The objective of this program is to help those with anxiety/depression reduce stress and develop healthy coping skills. Examples of skills participants learn include body scanning, sitting meditation, yoga techniques, walking meditation, breathing exercises and loving kindness. 

The next course, taught by licensed mental health professionals, is scheduled to take place from May 31st - July 19th, every Wednesday from 6:15-8:15pm. It will be a two hour mindfulness and meditation workshop with an optional 30 minute yoga session and will meet at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Please fill out and submit an H&M interest form to sign up.

This class has helped me to get out of bed and start moving in the morning. It’s given me purpose!
