Opening Our Doors to New Opportunities

On behalf of the NAMI Dane County Staff and Board of Directors, we wish to extend sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us for our Open House event on Tuesday, May 13th. Our community of nonprofit leaders, business owners, partner organizations, elected officials, neighbors, and friends helped us celebrate all of the new opportunities on the horizon as we begin a new chapter as an organization.

We celebrated the successes and lessons of the last year and shared all of the ways we positively impacted our community - including a record number of police officers being trained in Crisis Intervention, additional in-person options for public education, meaningful community engagement, and meeting the moment in the face of uncertainty.

We are looking forward to expanding course offerings, fostering new relationships with other service organizations in our area, building bridges of understanding, and sending our core message loud and clear - you are not alone.

Special thanks to our Gateway Top Sponsor, Psychiatric Services, S.C., whose generosity helped make this event possible.
