Voting at NAMI Dane County
NAMI Dane County elections include selection of board members, possible amendment of bylaws, and consideration of resolutions posed by the membership.
Usually, at least three (3) new members are elected each year to serve for the standard three-year term in conjunction with the Annual Meeting held in March of every year.
Who Votes in Elections
Members in good standing (fully paid dues) may vote, either online or mailed ballot. Members each get one vote in elections.
At least 30 days before the Annual Meeting, voting information including the slate of candidates, any proposed amendments or resolutions to the bylaws, forms, and instructions for voting will be provided to members.
Election results will be reported at the Annual Meeting. Results will also be posted on www.namidanecounty.org/voting/.
